This beautiful path leads down to the river from one of the parking lots. The tree canopy provides some wonderful shade for the very short walk down.
These little purple flowers really captured my eye. This particular one looks like it's reaching out tot he blade of grass.
I really liked how the beautiful purples contrasted with the greens. Each one looks like it's reaching out for sun.
That's one stubborn tree, growing right out of the river.
This spot is apparently a great spot for fishing! This state park has two miles of the Green River (upstream from the Gorge area) that runs through it.
This particular afternoon was early in June, so the water was rushing pretty hard, although I suspect it is even higher in early spring.
